MOUNT RAINIER RADIO CONTROL SOCIETY
Mount Rainier Radio Control Society (MRRCS) was founded in 1964.
It is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered club #648. Current AMA membership is required to fly at our location.
Pfeiffer Field is a club-owned flying site, and is located approximately 20 miles south of Tacoma, Washington.

Pfeiffer Field Amenities include:
300' by 40' asphalt runway with ample grass overruns.
Giant covered & lighted pit area with tables and electrical outlets.
Running water from our own well.
Enclosed clubhouse, port-a-potties, & picnic tables.
A large area for tent camping or recreational vehicles.
Campers have access to electrical connections and water.
Our club is open to all model flying enthusiasts. We welcome all ranges of flying experience - from beginners, to seasoned pilots.
Almost every type of R/C airplane can be found in the skies at Pfeiffer Field. From gliders and foamies, to giant scale planes and electric jets.
We are a club that takes pride in learning and teaching it's members about Remote Control Flight. You will always find someone willing to help.
AMA membership is required to fly at our field.
2023 Events
MRRCS club meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Pfeiffer Field Clubhouse.
